Santa Cruz Garter Snake

One of the smaller species of garter, Santa Cruz garter snakes are an awesome species to keep and enjoy.  They are naturally found in coastal California ponds and wetlands, often in the same habitat as California Red Sided garters.  Babies eat well once established on chopped pinkies, silverside fish, and chicken heart.
