Dixie County Florida Blue Stripe Garter Snakes

Not to be confused with Florida blue garter snakes (Thamnophis sirtalis sirtalis), Florida blue striped garters (Thamnophis sirtalis similis) are native to a handful of counties near the Gulf Hammock area of Florida.  These babies are locale specific to Dixie County, and will grow to be dark adults with blue lateral stripes.
